These are some of my new resin pendants I’m working on. I love the way they came out but I dont know if Im going to keep making them because the fumes from the resin are HORRIBLE. I felt like my lungs were gonna collapse. Its a shame too because I had so many ideas for cute necklaces.

I think Im just going to try out a few different brands and see if I like others better. Im not trying to cause myself health problems over a necklace no matter how cute it is lol

Hi everybody

I have big news today. Im finally announcing that I’ll be making miniature molds. You’ll be able to use many different types of materials in my molds like polymer clay, paper clay, resin “no mold release needed its totally non stick”, soap, wax, hot glue *my favorite materials – super tutorial coming soon for that one and even low melt metals WHOA

my molds are even food grade which means you can make chocolate , candy and even fondant shapes woo hoo

They can withstand temperatures between 400 and 450 degrees farenheit.

Here is a pic of a sample of them that I’ve made so far

They are so much fun to make and they really are worth it since you’ll be able to make your own cabochons

I can also make molds in any scale and design just let me know what you think

~Mixi

Hi everybody this post is going to be super fun and Im sure it will really help get the creative ideas flowing. Many people who make clay miniatures or clay jewelry get stuck as to how to make new textures. Well here is the trick, you can use different types of plastics & resins in your creations. Here is my list for cool materials that will take your creations to the next level.

Resin – This is a 2 part mixture that can be used to create lots of cool things from pendants to syrups to encasing edible objects and make them last forever.

Liquid Rubber – Great for melting effects, Dipping and giving a thick smooth texture like on chocolates

Liquid Latex – Same as above

Jiggly Worm Lures – Did you know those lures that come in all those different colors are made from plastisols which will melt in the microwave and you can use to pour in molds and make jelly textures or liquids for your miniatures or jewelry.
