Here is a tiny post but a great one. I finally perfected my polymer clay cake texture to make it look realistic. Also its flexible and squishy like real cake. Its all polymer clay . Now I can also make squishy but durable miniature pieces. I think this is the ultimate miniature cake discovery woo hoooooo. Now it not only looks like real cake but it will feel like it too.

Deco Parts and Birthday Presents

So here is a little update on what I’ve been doing lately. January has not been my best month. It has been so annoying especially with 3 snow storms that delayed me shipping out items due to the post office being closed. Not being able to get on the net. Being away from making stuff and having to have somebody else ship out the packages for me it has been a huge mess. I think this holiday I sold a few hundred items in different venues which was good but the weather killed my delivery time. I hate living in the country side sometimes because when it snows which it barely does in my area it brings everything to a halt. When we have like 1 inch of snow everything stops so you can imagine what happened when we had like 4 to 5 feet. It was horrible. I’ll add some pictures of it later to this post.

Then I’ve been working on this one custom order that just did not work out. I worked on it so hard but in the end the customer and I just could not come to terms. So here are pics of all the parts I have left over. Im going to make them into jewelry and other items in the next few days.

Then my moms birthday recently passed and this is what I made her. She loves deco stuff more than I do.

Fancy Macarons

So I’ve been working on these for a while. Im finally going to finish them up tomorrow. I just gotta add the filling and some toppings and they’ll be ready for sale. I will be turning them into necklaces I might make some rings if I have the time.

I really love fancy sweet items. I think in 2011 I will be making more of this style.

Clay Waffle Cones

So I finally got around to making some more waffle cones. Then I decided to make some pretty pastel waffle cones since nobody really makes those I’d thought it would be an unique idea to try out. They came out really cute especially since I made them have a sparkly coating it makes them look really pretty.

I still have to tweak them a bit before I start making them to sell. I have to decide the best way to fill them and keep them light and not to heavy. Figure out a better way to make the scoops in the cone the way I like in a faster amount of time. I also think I may change the pattern on the waffle cone itself Im not sure yet. I have to make a few others and see which one I like better.

Waffle Cone Tower

Starlight Ice Cream Scoop Ring

Today Im so happy to be sharing my new creations called Starlight Ice Creams

I figured out how to intensify light reflection and now whenever I put my special coating on my items it makes them glow and become iridescent and basically really really sparkle.

I made a video of it because its the only way you can truly see how much it really sparkles and actually creates the shape of whatever I put it on. So with this one I used stars so it creates glowing stars when light hits it. It reminds me of the galaxy so its like having a starry sky right in the palm of my hand.
