Thanks for the compliment

as far as silicone goes, they all look and feel pretty much the same, the difference is the chemical additives they have in them. If you want something even better than the AFM you can just get food grade silicone or aquarium grade silicone that wont have alot of the bad chemicals that caulking has. They are usually called sealants instead of caulk.

and all silicone gets dirty after a while, I have one I've been testing for over a year now in the bottom of my purse and on a charm and lets say its kinda grey lol. I usually use clay but when I do use silicone after its fully cured I give it about a week to 2 weeks sometimes I coat it in resin to keep it white and not dirty. It wont be flexible anymore but it'll look the same at least.

You'll just have to find what works best for you. I like things to be very neat so I always look at all the details since I sell my products other people may not want to do all the extra steps I do so its usually best if you experiment.

I love these so much!! They are adorable. You did such a good job. I found your page on a livejournal discussion, and I noticed you were talking about silicone and things like that. I was wondering, have you personally used AFM Safecoat Caulking Compound, and do you feel that it is just as good as normal silicone? Do you find it gets dirty at all?

Thanks! I love your blog. It's very cute.
