Padded Snap Clip Tutorial
Making padded snap clips is super easy to do. This is a simple tutorial to make the snap clip.
MATERIALS NEEDED
- Snap clip around 50 mm is standard size
- Snap Clip Cover
- Scissors
- Needle & Thread *optional
First take your snap clip cover
and squeeze it between your fingers to seperate the 2 layers
Then take your scissors and cut a slip on the bottom layer. In the picture below the white lines surround the slit where I cut the cover too far from the edge. I should have cut it where the blue and yellow lines are. I was rushing a bit, but not worries it still came out good.
Then just insert the top of the snap clip inside the cover, its important not to make the slit too low from the edge because it might be difficult to insert the top part of the snap clip in and might rip the snap clip cover if you try to force it like I did lol.
and you are done. You can close the slit with needle and thread to make it look more perfect but you dont have to, everything stays in place.
Now just add your favorite charm to the top of the cover and you have a super cute padded snap clip.
